The Problem With Online Meetings

If you have ever tried to chair (or were a participant in) a distributed virtual meeting with more than two attendees you have experienced the problem.  Regardless of whether the meetings are solely audio or include a video stream, they are hard to follow, difficult to lead, and impossible to manage corporate-wide.

I'm sure your company has team meetings where people are presenting from several locations.  Running the meeting smoothly such that screen sharing or slide presentations flow and everyone in attendance can see and hear the speaker is difficult with existing tools such as DimDim, Skype, Vivu gotometting.

Everyone wants online meetings to be an effective replacement for physical meetings.  But the state of the technology thus far is a bit lacking.
